From 1 September 2025 — new energy efficiency requirements for appliances

From 1 September 2025 updated energy efficiency requirements for household and office appliances came into effect.

Who is affected

• Refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, air conditioners;
• TVs, computers, household electrical appliances;
• Products must carry a correct energy efficiency class label (A–G).

What to do

Importers and manufacturers should confirm energy consumption indicators and update labelling. Non-compliance may lead to refusal of market access.
