EEC sets the procedure for introducing amendments to TR CU 017/2011

On 7 April 2026, EEC Board Decision No.44 set the procedure for introducing amendments to TR CU 017/2011 "On the safety of light industry products".

What it means

• Transitional provisions for manufacturers and importers were established;
• Conformity assessment documents issued before the amendments take effect remain valid until expiry;
• The order of transition to the updated conformity rules was defined.

Companies dealing in clothing, footwear, textiles and other light industry products should plan the transition in advance.
